LibreOncology is an open-source oncology education platform. We believe the knowledge to treat cancer should not be a luxury good.
Why We Exist
Medical education is broken. Publishing houses pay content creators nothing — or next to nothing — then charge $500+ for textbooks and $700 for review courses. Journals charge $3,500 to publish research, then pay editors zero.
Meanwhile, residents at smaller training programs lack access to the teaching resources available at places like MD Anderson or Sloan Kettering. A first-year resident in Nebraska deserves the same quality education as one in Houston.
We're building the Khan Academy of radiation oncology. Expert-created content, AI-enhanced delivery, community-curated quality — at the price of a latte. Every dollar accounted for. Every contributor compensated.
